This wine is the soul of our family and the tribute to our beautiful estate. This is a very special property, absolutely unique. It was bought by the Larrainzar family from the monks of the nearby Monastery of Irache. And it has been home to this family for over 160 years. It has beautiful gardens, full of centenary pines, fountains and ponds, surrounded by boxwood and flowers that embellish even more the magic of this house. Therefore, we wanted to reflect that special environment, embodying on the labels the beauty of French-style gardens.
This is the first brand we ever produced and the one we feel better represents the house style. After being harvested by hand, the different varieties and plots are vinified and aged separately using the best French oak barrels. Only then we create the final blend, to achieve a perfect balance, where the fruit always plays the leading role. A complex blending exercise for you to enjoy.
Colour: Amazing cherry red full colour, very alive, clean and bright.
Nose: Complex nose mixing fruity, mineral and smoky notes with a touch of curing.
Palate: Remarkably rich on the palate, soft and with great structure. Fine follow-through, still solid. Long and persistent, it warns of a great stay in the bottle. Its tannins leave a slightly earthy feel, but they are fine and elegant. Its good acidity stands out, which ensures a good evolution in the bottle.
