The visit at Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar begins with a video that explains our project.

Then we visit the Viticulture Garden where you can see different vine training and pruning techniques applied to our grape varieties. Learn about the treatments and work we do each season in the vineyard.

Next we visit the Pago de Larrainzar vineyards, starting with the excellent view from a beautiful historic overlook spot.

The visit continues in the winery, where we visit the different enclaves and explain the steps in our wine making process.

At the end of the visit, we offer a wine tasting with our enologists which is accompanied by locally produced products.

We offer different kind of tastings:

Experiencia Larrainzar: Guided tour to the vineyard and winery. Tasting of 3 wines accompanied by Idiazabal cheese. 15 € per person.

Experiencia Larrainzar Premium: Visit to the vineyard and winery with a tasting of 3 wines from our most exquisite and renowned range, accompanied by Idiazábal cheese. Pago de Larrainzar Reserva Especial, Pago de Larrainzar Cabernet Sauvignon y Pago de Larrainzar Merlot, all of very limited production.  35 € per person.

Experiencia Larrainzar Copa en Mano: Walk through our winery and vineyard while tasting our wines at different stages of the winemaking process. Guided tasting of 6 wines, including wine tasting from the tank and from the barrel. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of 4 wines, accompanied by Idiazábal cheese.  35 € per person. Minimum group of 8 people. 

Experiencia Larrainzar Profesional: Under the guidance of our winemaker, and including vertical tasting of Pago de Larrainzar and other wines in the process of winemaking, which will be extracted from the barrels for tasting and tasting. A unique opportunity to discover wines still in the aging process, and to experience the different nuances that each type of barrel brings to our wines. Price on request. 

Wine Bar: If during your visit to our winery you do not have time to tour the vineyard and visit our facilities, you can enjoy the tasting of our wines by the glass in a pleasant environment.

Snack: If you wish to accompany any of our tasting suggestions with an appetizer, we offer a selection of quality cured meats and local Idiazábal cheese.  6 € per person.

Children’s Tasting: Children under 18 can not taste our wines and the visit will be free for them. We offer you to enjoy a tasting of grape juice, snacks and Idiazábal cheese to make your stay more entertaining. Price: € 5 per child.
